Destin is like a better version of Myrtle Beach, but I avoid it at all costs when down there. Thankfully I no longer have to drive through there on the way to the beach.
 
If you're gonna go to a shitty Gulf Coast town, at least do Pensacola Beach so you can hit up Gulf Islands National Seashore Santa Rosa Island Unit. That is a great undeveloped/uncrowded beach.
 
Steve Forbes loves Destin, though. Just bought a condo there, so you could possibly hang with him.

If you go to the Disney Wilderness Preserve in Kissimmee you can visit a pond that young Timmy Clutch helped create on a service trip.

Though I believe this would be quite far down on your list of places to visit in Florida.

you can hit all the parts of Gulf Islands -- there's Fort Pickens at one end of the island, then more of it between Pensacola Beach and Navarre Beach, then another stretch on Okaloosa Island between Fort Walton Beach and Destin.
 
Forgot to put coffee basket (with grounds) in the coffee machine this morning and it made a mess and it did not make coffee.

don't know if you've seen the video of the dude who tackled Chapelle on stage last night but that dude's arm was bent backwards and he looked fucked up by Chapelle's security

does that dude have any grounds for a suit since it looked like he was pretty much restrained and surrounded when security started kicking and punching him on the ground
