Any grounds or actual chance at recovering money damages? I am sure there are lawyers out there who would take the case and hope the venue settles, while arguing that the response (self defense) was not proportional to the threat represented as he was restrained at the time, so self defense would not be a valid defense to the assault, but he was a trespasser at the time....I mean there are like 5 or 6 things people would talk about if this was a bar question, but most decent judges would just toss it out.

The weirdest thing about packing up my things is that I work from home... Which makes it kind of pointless.
