Top 10 Worst fan bases in sports

This just hits on what Cubs and Brewers fans have witnessed for many years from a segment of St. Louis Cardinal fans. I took my then 11 year old son to watch the Cubs take on the Cards in the RF bleachers at Wrigley in (I believe) June of 2016. Pre-game a few of them, already blitzed, were taunting Heyward as he warmed up with some choice phrases. That got them a beer shower and an escort out from security before a fight could get going. Of course they whined about how those who threw the beers weren't getting booted as well. Uh, know the room dudes. The fact they describe themselves as the "best fans in baseball" is rich. All fan bases have their assholes and their saints. But too many Cardinal fans are from the worst part of Trumpville for anyone's good.

Brutal that the Cards swept that 4 game series. Just a speed bump on the way to better things that year.

I'd nominate White Sox fans as I've watched them brawl each other when hammered. But there aren't enough of them to call it a real fan base and as a franchise there just isn't much to dislike overall.

Boston sports fans.

Not having Steelers fans on the list seems like a miss.

Yankee fans and Cowboy fans who are not from New York or Dallas are universally awful people that put a stain on earth. Their immediate deaths would result in a net plus for the world. However it doesn’t make the whole fan base bad.
 
Having my grandson and myself told to go fuck ourselves and that Wake was a shitty school BEFORE even entering the NCSU game last fall..... I'd say they're somewhere in the top 50.
Our crime? Wearing Wake gear and saying "Go Deacs!".


I've never had a bigger smile on my face than leaving Groves after our glorious win!! Served cold and it was delicious!

Patriot fans followed closely by Steeler fans and Pens fans. All whiny POS.

Came here to vote for these, but only Boston available was a disappointment.

I'd also add Clemson fans.

And West Virginia fans, just for the hell of it.
