Heard from the ticket office this morning that the Blue and Orange lots passes have sold out. Not sure about the Red and Gold lots, but they are selling passes to the Joel now. Looks like there's quite the demand to see the Deacs this fall.

Closing of Senior Services lot effective this season probably had some impact on this.
And speaking of parking, interesting that the WFU-hyped "one of the biggest events in Groves/Truist stadium history" has since the night-of been met with crickets from the University. Pretty sure they're laying low and hoping the whole thing blow over about the traffic situation. But they won't be able to put on another event of this magnitude without first admitting that it should have been handled better, and outlining steps taken to make it happen.
One possible suggestion: once vehicles are in the lineup on the connecting streets to get in the lots, do the Chick-Fil-A bit and have people walking down the line of cars and collecting the parking fee. Put a paid sticker on their windshield, and then they can be waved ahead w/o delay when they get to the lot.

...or get there earlier, as the multiple emails suggested.

I’ve seen them posting a ton about the concert on social media. What are you talking about?

Deacon Hill is now on a wait list, FYI.

I'm moving back to the area! Super pumped to have season tickets for the first time ever. Find me in the chairbacks in section 4

That's fantastic. I just hope none of these figures are being skewed by Clemson fans who will then dump other game tickets. Hopefully the numbers reflect legitimate interest in Wake Forest football.

Clemson fan interest has been down for years

Plenty of empty seats at Clemson last year as they stumbled through the season. Here's to another season of DJ Uglieilieiailleiie screw ups.

^ It did and has other years too, IIRC. $200 for four season tix, albeit sitting on grass, is a fantastic deal, especially if you have young kids.

Yeah, sitting on the hill is a great deal when it's casual and the team is so-so because you can spread out and walk around. And it's an even better deal if you can stomach doing that when the team is good and the hill is crowded.

However, it can kind of suck if it's a little wet and there's a big crowd.

if the Hill gets wet then most of the people with Hill tickets will probably stand on the concourse under the scoreboard.

Yeah, and that's not a great way to watch a game, especially if you have kids.

growing up we had hill seats and it was a blast chasing XPs from the opponent's kicker
