post your favorite music vidoes

if yall haven't already heard them, then Cat Power has 3 covers records that are all worth checking out

no hype williams or mark romanek videos on here is interesting

There was some serious spank action to these back in the day. Different albums, but same era:

These were some of my childhood/teen favorites that haven't been mentioned, and some may or may not be related to dolphin flogging:

Sinead probably influenced D'Angelo now that I see those two back-to-back. There isn't a bigger Prince fan on Earth than D'Angelo.

I'm surprised that I can't find the original video for Duran Duran's "Girls on Film" anywhere. Only the censored MTV version. Lame. I know it used to be on YouTube and they have far worse shit on there than that video.

DD also had titties in their Chauffeur video.

Golden Earring's "Twilight Zone" also had some brief nudity. I remember watching Night Flight and I think they black barred the titties.

Keep in mind that I came of age before the days of internet porn. My spank bank sources were music videos or a 2 second sneak peak at a Playboy when nobody was looking.

Continuing various themes:

(almost) softcore:

A couple I simply think are really cool:

Roger Deakins!

I could go on with stuff from OK Go, Talking Heads and Peter Gabriel but this thread is already getting annoying to load.

The discussion of Hallelujah got me watching/listening to several renditions.

Just wanted to post this one. Because it’s great.

And because…it struck me that in the beginning it’s obvious and unexpected to find Vincent Vega playing drums.

I think maybe so. That voice, man.

Also in the category of far and away better than the original is Joe Cocker Help From My Friends.

I'm assuming that you have heard Live at Sin-é? Buckley was the king of covering a song that you knew and loved, and turning it into something absolutely enchanting.

That 8 minute journey is worth it. Trust me.
