CT: What's the deal with those guys in The Pit?

Doesn’t need a big budget to make it good, no

I liked Game Night which was probably medium budget

Some of the big budget PG13 comedies like Jumanji or 21 Jump Street were decent

I also love low budget terrible comedies like Macgruber and Hot Rod

I’m not lucky but I feel like the golden age is long gone

I never took work home when I was in the hospital. Now that I'm in an outpatient clinic, I'll sometimes take documentation home to do after the kids go to bed, but honestly I'd much rather be home from 4:30-5:30 PM with my family rather than at the clinic finishing my notes. So it's worth the trade off.

The only nice part about checking the EMR from home is when I find out that my first appointment of the day canceled.

I'm no movie historian, but it seems like these things have creative cycles. Different genres get hot and dominate the box office until they creatively or financially fall off.

Yeah... And I'd argue actors come and go, as well.

Adam Sandler had a good run and his shit got old and stale.
Will Ferrell similarly.
Maybe even Kevin Hart.

If I could bring back any movie genre and period, it'd be 1970s crime films.

Dog Day Afternoon
Friends of Eddie Coyle
Taking of Pelham One Two Three
Marathon Man
Charley Varrick
The Conversation
The Sting
The Long Goodbye

So many bangers from that period, in addition to the big ones (Godfather, Chinatown, Dirty Harry, etc). Recently watched Straight Time with Dustin Hoffman for the first time ever. Goddamn is that good.

I've only seen about five of them, but Sex and The City was never funny to me. Jumanji was an adventure movie with some slapstick comedy relief thrown in. Mamma Mia is a musical. I seriously doubt MIB 3 was funny.
