Maybe they know what they have with John and wanted a long look at Perkins.

Roberson played a little in the 3rd. I didn’t see Bassey on the field at all.
 
So that’s why I missed it last week. He didn’t get his appendix out again so why didn’t he play yesterday?
 
Is Sciba now the Steelers’ kicker or is he in competition with anyone?
 
Yeah, Sciba's not getting that job unless Boswell gets hurt or contracts a severe case of the yips. It's good to be in their camp though in case Boswell does get hurt. And about half a dozen teams will fire their kicker at some point during the season.

Watching this back, and it should've gone for a touchdown. #53 should be cut for their blocking effort. Dortch gets to the final 2 guys and has a lead blocker (#53). 53 takes the inside man, Dortch jukes the outside guy.... and 53 just jogs past the inside man, who gets the final tackle.

Not sure it's either. The Ravens have been good at this recently too. Sign a strong UDFA, let them kick preseason, then try to trade to a desperate team before the 53-man rosters are set. Plus, insurance if an injury happens.

Yeah. That was awful. I looked him up and this is his third year in the league.
 
Marquel Lee released by the Bills this AM. Hope he gets another chance somewhere.
