Got this email from a coworker this morning and I am always trying to help, so I am spreading the word. If anyone is interested, contact me and I will give you the contact information for the rescue group:
We are hoping to find 4 very loving foster homes for the following young dogs. If you, or anyone you know, can offer a place in your home, please let me know. The first two listed, Isaac and Suzy - have been waiting to find foster homes for some months now, both would benefit from homes with other dog(s) they would love to go on walks and the occasional trip to the dog park! Although they are siblings, they do not need to be homed together.
Isaac - 8 months old black lab/mix He was abandoned on a deserted dirt road, with two of his siblings. They were rescued by extremely kind people who took them into their home. Isaac needs to go to a foster home where he will be exercised, be socialised with other dogs and get the love and attention he deserves. A fenced yard would be fun for Isaac, he needs a foster who will walk him and give him attention and training. Not yet crate trained but working on that. He is handsome, lovable and loyal.
Suzy is Isaac's sister - also approx 8 months old black lab mix. We need to find a loving foster home for her. Suzy would also benefit from a fenced yard, she does need a foster who will walk with her, and help her to learn She is a cute, lovable dog. Not yet crate trained but working on that.
Coco - 2 year old hound mix - Coco has a lot of youthful energy and would love to go on walks and to dog parks. She is sweet and sociable. She was left behind by some renters and was found in a pitiful thin condition. She was nursed back to health by her rescuer and is now lively and healthy. Coco is looking for a longer term foster home with other dogs to play with (she is also good with kids and cats) She would benefit from walks and trips to the dog park. Coco is submissive to other dogs.
We also have a 6 month old GSD/Husky mix pup rescued from a high kill shelter over this weekend. He is described as friendly with other dogs,cats and kids. Very people friendly. He is still a puppy and so needs someone who can help with training. He just wants to be loved and shown attention.
All of these dogs need kind and loving homes in which to develop and thrive.
BFPA will provide all medications, Flea Tick and HW prevention meds. and will schedule and pay for all vet visits. We are looking for people who will open their hearts and homes to one of these loveable mutts and give them a safe and secure place to live as they wait for their forever homes.
