For those anxiously awaiting our update, we shot team 31 yesterday morning and lost 6/4. That team won our flight. I finally put it all together yesterday afternoon in a meaningless match to shoot gross 37 and net 34, we win 6.5/3.5. Finished birdie, birdie (net eagle), birdie. Makes the sour taste of losing a little easier to tolerate. A great weekend overall.
 
Pine Brook looks as though it took a beating in the storms yesterday. I think I seen 7 trees down just riding by.
 
I seen one right there at that green, one by the gazebo in the parking lot, one in the fairway of 17, and one in the fairway of 1.
 
Finally got tired of hitting my Calloway X-Forged irons like shit and took them out of the bag Thursday evening and pulled out a decade+ old set of DCI 990's. Then went and shot 70 at Oak Valley and 70 at Salem Glen.

Sometimes it helps just to look at something different.

Give the Mp 59's a look before going to the AP2's. They are both great, I was all but set on the AP 2s before my trainer made me hit the Mp 59s for a day and I was amazed.. They are incredible, better fitting options and you can get a custom fitted set delivered in under 7 days. I went from traditional blades and I couldn't be happier.
 
I love my AP2's. Best irons I've ever played. The 710's were good but the 712's are just about perfect.
 
This is me cracking one at a captains choice today. Long game is good. Short game is not. We all know that doesn't translate to good scores.

i'm no expert, but i think you gotta stand up straighter
 
Has anyone tried the Titleist CBs? As I said before, I've been playing my current set for about 15 years and I'm thinking about upgrading.

I had the same thought. I wondered if it was the angle of the camera. Funny thing is I smoked this one about 325. But I'm inconsistent. Might be a posture issue.

Picture is deceiving. You aren't nearly that flat when I've seen you play.

This group of about 20 tourists walked over to 17 green and posed for pictures on the green for about 15 minutes while there were groups back in the fairway waiting to hit. Absolutely hilarious.

This ball hit the side of the Rusack hotel on the right. Sounded like a shotgun went off when it hit. Only time I've ever been amused by hitting a ball OB:
