Not sure how anyone could dislike this album. I seem to remember rawarr had some gripes with it among the rest of Ryan Adams' work. But hot damn these songs are good.Originally Posted by TownieDeac

Is this the last good U2 album? Or was that even a decade earlier? IDK, there are some pretty solid songs on this album.
Ugh so there are these shitty cheeseball tunes like "Elevation," and then the album closes with "Grace." WTF U2 quit playing with my opinion of you!

This is (somehow) my first time listening to this album. Wow, there's a lot of cool stuff on here. I especially like the opener "The Shining," "Camping Next to Water," and "Once around the Block." The latter is this sweet mix of jazz percussion, folk rock, and contemporary pop.

Much better than I remembered. A Song for Assata is some powerful stuff.
