This blog entry from the Fayetteville Observer, http://blogs.fayobserver.com/accbasketball/March-2011/Pack-parent--Lowe-was-too-much-of-a-perfectionist-, was posted on the other board and it got my really wondering about NBA guys as college head coaches.

In the blog, CJ Williams' dad blames Lowe's NBA background and Lowe's insistence on trying to implement a detalied, NBA style system for much of his struggles at NC State. Most experts believe and most evidence shows that is very difficult for college coaches to transition to the NBA and the outcome usually isn't good. Is the same true for NBA coaches who transistion to coach college ball? When Bz was hired his NBA experience was touted as a big positive and many of the Bz defenders quickly point to it to defend Bz. Is that experience really a positive for being a college coach?

The two are such different games that it is hard to be good at both, IMO.

Buzz sucks at both.
