What is the commercial hawking? I hope it's something cool. Ferris would never sell out for something lame.
 
Ferris Bueller's Day Off 26 years later with Broderick as a mid-level exec playing hooky could be awesome. Looking forward to the Super Bowl commercials.
 
Definitely not a Ferris Bueller 2. No way that could be hid and no way they'd spend Superbowl money for simply an announcement of the making of it.
 
Just google it. It's Super Bowl commercials for Honda that use the Ferris Bueller character. They should be funny.
 
Cameron has never been in love - at least, nobody's ever been in love with him. If things don't change for him, he's gonna marry the first girl he lays, and she's gonna treat him like shit, because she will have given him what he has built up in his mind as the end-all, be-all of human existence. She won't respect him, 'cause you can't respect somebody who kisses your ass. It just doesn't work.

Twenty years from now, when you look back on the ruin your life has become, you're going to remember the name Edward Rooney.

I was hoping that quote would have been the impetus for a sequel a few years ago. Maybe if these commercials get enough run they will consider it.

Broderick said in the Behind the Scenes that he and Hughes talked about FB2 but never could get together on particulars before Hughes died. He said in retrospect he wished he had done it. It'll never happen.
 
yeah huge letdown. wish it was actually Ferris and not Broderick. Also, needed Cameron and Sloan (though I doubt they would still be together).
 
Time has not been kind to Mia Sara. Lookin' roooooooooough.
