Here's tonight's lineup. I was pretty close.

Bono

It may be a meaningless match but I'm looking forward to seeing some young guys getting a run out.

Surprised not to see Miazga starting. He looked calm and collected in Cary against Paraguay. CCV seemed far more uneasy.

Shredding them up down the right wing. Weah probably should have finished there.

Looking good on the counter early. I really like the promise of this young core. And these jerseys are pretty tight too.

Beautiful ball from my BOI

3-0 on a Weah finish.

Sargent, Weah and Robinson should all feature going forward. They're ready.

Keaton Parks on. Another kid I'm really excited about. The top Benfica B player this past season. 6-4, very technical, can play anywhere centrally. 20 years old.

This is fun. If missing a WC, as painful as it is, is what it takes to make real progress, then ok (makes me feel better at least).

Obviously a log way to go, but missing this WC could be a blessing in disguise. Use the next year to bleed in these new kids and feature them going forward. Build chemistry and gain experience.
