US announced its roster for Olympic Qualifying. Can't know which players wouldn't be released by their team and therefore aren't included vs weren't selected. Glad to see guys like Llanez, Gloster, and Ledezma on here.

Only real misses are Richards and Vines, neither of which who were released.

That lineup should easily qualify, and probably win the tournament. That being said we've choked in the all-important semifinal the last two times, so who knows.

Our first two matches are Costa Rica and Mexico, both who are in our group. Win those two and get the second place team (Honduras?) from the other group in the semis.

Plus all the youngsters already playing for the senior team that would be eligible if called in and their teams would release them...Sargent, McKennie, Pulisic, Adams, Dest, and Reyna. Not to mention guys like CCV, Soto, and Mendez.

Mexico is the 3rd group stage match
 
Benny Feilhaber retired this morning. He was a critical piece of the Confederations Cup team and the world cup team in South Africa but I will always be most grateful for his volley in Chicago to beat Mexico in the Gold Cup.
 
The main thing I got from his retirement announcement is how stupid it was to fire Bob Bradley

MLS is suspending its season immediately until further notice due to coronavirus, a source with knowledge of the situation tells Sports Illustrated.
 
March friendlies cancelled. Only a matter of time before Olympic qualifying tournament is canx as well.

If he can stay healthy long enough to wear it I'd just give this kid the armband for the next decade. He has the metal we are missing so badly in the middle of the pitch. Bradley used to have it when he was younger but lost it when he decide to transform himself into the Regista Philosopher King
