Women's Bball makes NIT

Congrats to the ladies. How close were they to an NCAA berth?

Former Deac Ralph Kitley's daughter was the MVP of the NC 4A State Championship game this past weekend. She's a 6-4 sophomore at NW Guilford, where her dad is principal, and already has an offer from WFU.
 
Women win 71-42 over BCC as their women went 15-1 in conf., but were upset in the conf. tourney.
 
We make the NIT pretty frequently (never do anything in it). At some point we need to start making the NCAA Tournament. No excuse for going this long without it
 
Obviously. Crazy that we had a women's player put up two 20/10 seasons and we couldn't even get to the postseason. We have a men's player put up a near 20/10 season and we can only make it to a play-in game.

What's that got to do with anything? One player with good stats does not indicate a good team...
 
No. No it doesn't. And that's part of the problem.
 
lost by 7 today. Most of the team is back for next year. No less than 20 win season next year would be disappointing.

Disappointing. The program took a big step forward last year and thought they would do so again this season. Many of their losses were blowouts.

Need to make the NCAAs soon or it will be fair to question the direction of the program.
