Women's Bball makes NIT

Disappointing. The program took a big step forward last year and thought they would do so again this season. Many of their losses were blowouts.

Need to make the NCAAs soon or it will be fair to question the direction of the program.

We've been to the NCAA tournament once nearly 30 years ago.

Has every ACC team made the NCAAs since WF's last trip?

The continuing failure of the women's basketball team is mystifying. WF performs at a high level in most of the women's sports where its has committed itself (soccer, field hockey, golf, tennis), and other similarly situated private schools have performed well in women's basketball (Duke, Notre Dame, Baylor, Stanford, Vandy). Not expecting WF to be playing in the Final 4, but hard to understand how the WF women's basketball program has been the worst or close to the worst in the ACC and among Power V schools in the nation for 30 years. Odd.

How do we continue to have the same injuries over and over again to key players?

That doesn't account for all the sucktitude over the past 30+ years, but it does recently at least.
