Finally finished up the full seeding possibilities. For Wake:

7 seed: 2%
8 seed: 7%
9 seed: 56%
10 seed: 9%
11 seed: <1%
12 seed: 26%

Will post the full rundown table on BSD soon. Got it all setup so I can update it instantaneously as each game finishes, and I can play with the odds too. /nerd

The most likely 8 seed is BC. Would be an electric crowd for that 8/9 game.
 
BC-Miami would be about as kind a draw could be asked for
 
Miami won't make the Sweet 16. A late season swoon of Wake Forest proportions.

RW would take Bzz over Larranaga. Bzz doesn't lose important games in February and March.
 
After years of trying to project seeding with 2 or more games left in the season I can say this, it never happens the way it's supposed to or likely to. I'd think GT winning at Miami was one of the least likely upsets.

Ga Tech plays BC this weekend so one of them will finish with 7 conference wins. That means that we are guaranteed to once again finish as one of the bottom four teams in the conference.

The only way Wake didn't finish in the bottom four before tonight anyways was if we won our last two games IIRC.
 
Barring a Clemson win @ Miami...

If we win, and GT wins --> 9 seed
If we win, and BC wins --> 10 seed

Regardless of any other game...

If we lose --> 12 seed
 
Virginia down 11 at Florida St right now. Would be a crushing loss.

If this result holds, UNC clinches the 3 seed (ETA: Nevermind, I'm wrong).

Called that before wake even beat Miami. This team had been getting by in a lot of games where I really just didn't see then as a contending team. Surprised they are tanking this bad down the stretch though. ACC and NCAA tourneys are going to be great
