Wellman pulled the offer. He will need every excuse available to continue to tell us "success is a process. "
 
Haas was 100% on board 18 hours before this debacle. In forty plus years, I can't remember us pulling a scholarship on signing day. If that's the case, this is totally inexcusable.

It should [Redacted]'s last day.
 
I'll wait for the facts to come out before rushing to Judgment, but something does stink in Denmark...err Wakemark.
 
This is one of the most fucked up things i've ever heard of in college basketball. The simple fact that it happened at our university makes it down right embarrassing and disgraceful. I hope this kid tears it up in college and destroys a bz coached team in the future, whether that be at wake or not.

This is so fucked up.
 
It is about time for the ususal suspects to start casting character aspersions out on Haas to give Bz some cover.

From information I have gathered, this process was initiated by Haas, not Wake. As to whether Wake has pulled the offer, I don't know but if it is, it would be in response to the recruits actions as Wake expected him signing yesterday as late as Tuesday night
 
Details will be interesting. Maybe the Haas kid wants to simply be closer to home. Dunno.
However, given that our athletic department can't organize a fucking one-car parade, nothing would surprise me at this point.

Deman is a plant for the AD.

The very night before Haas twice tweeted about signing with Wake.

I wouldn't believe anything Deman, Wellman or [Redacted] said about this. They are saying whatever they can to cover their asses in a situation that hasn't happened at Wake in at least half a century, if ever.

[Redacted] needs to be gone NOW!!!!

Truth is none of us know what happened. I agree that Wellman and Bzz need to be taken with great skepticism but lets not jump to conclusions until we know the facts.

What if he did mess this up, and it IS his last day, and our long national nightmare is (almost)* over!

*Wellman still wouldn't fire him, and he'd possibly be in charge of the new hire anyway, so never mind
