It's odd being back at work for the first time since last Wednesday.
 
I slept better last night than I've slept in a long time. A full day's manual labor ensured I'd have no trouble falling asleep last night. I still haven't figured out what brought about the insomnia, because I typically have no trouble falling asleep. I guess there were just too many things on my brain.
 
First day back in the office since last Tuesday. I miss my PJ pants.
 
My cousins in PA found a purebred Vizsla puppy out in the snow the other day and have had no luck finding the owner. It being a purebred seems like someone out there should definitely be looking for it, I would think!
 
it's a coworker's birthday so there is cake, and it's the absolute best cake. pretty much the only one I'll eat for breakfast. Whipped cream frosting with strawberries in it, so fluffy, and the cake is nice and moist (no I'm not afraid of that word, moist moist moist). so glad we get this cake most of the time now - a coworker's daughter is the baker.

also I'm jazzed for this warmer weather. got overzealous and went with bare legs today but I've got my space heater going now.

the sushi place across from my office (the best in the city) has their montly ramen special today. so pumped.
 
So on Saturday I was out and someone hit my parked car and scratched up the bumper, or so it seemed. It defs looked like there was damage, but I was actually able to wipe it all off with some snow. Can't see anything now. But I was really happy that the person left a note and was genuinely interested in taking care of it. When I called and told him that there was nothing to worry about he was defs relieved. A lot of people wouldn't have left the note.
