Kenny Beck tweeted that the decision to play or not would be made Sunday
And the game is Tuesday? So they're gonna have like 1 day to sell tickets to this amateur hour shitshow? LOLKenny Beck tweeted that the decision to play or not would be made Sunday

Deacs are not playing in the CBI.
And the game is Tuesday?
Says logic or someone that would know?
someone that would know.
someone that would know.
someone that would know.
Would that same someone in the know grace us with the [Redacted] verdict from his highness?
He's gone. RW made his expectations known to the team pre-season. Those expectations have not been met.
It's probably to late to organize a boycott of todays game, but if we accept a CBI bid, that game could be a perfect opportunity to drive the final nail in the coffin. The bzout movement has been doing an excellent job of staying vocal, but what we need to do next is to show the BOT and Wellman what life would be like without Wake Forest basketball fans. This, of course, means not purchasing tickets, but a good chunk of their money comes from TV deals, so we need to commit to not watching the game on the TV and/or internet. Not only that, but I propose a total blackout-do not check the score online, do not post on Wake Forest message boards, and do not patronize bars/restaurants that are showing the game. If you cannot help yourself and must check the score, you may do so on the ticker of a television showing another game. These days, people can watch the internet for page clicks, and we want no perceived interest in Wake Forest basketball. We need to show Wellman a realistic, bleak future if he continues along his current path.
This next suggestion is a little radical, but bear with me. There is always the risk that Wellman will dismiss the boycott by saying that everyone is at work or that it's a sunny day and no one wants to watch TV. We should make it clear that we are in front of our various screens, but are actively rejecting Demon Deacon hoops. Therefore, I propose that everyone log on to a pornographic website at once. There are sites that monitor regional trends in porn traffic-one recent example reported a spike in such traffic in Colorado after the Broncos lost the Super Bowl. Winston Salem is smaller than Denver, so if we get enough fans on board, we could create an even greater spike (although I recognized that Wake fans are scattered throughout the country-I for instance, am in Springfield). The decision to gratify yourself is yours and your alone-all I am proposing is the viewing of pornography. If you elect to do so, I don't think it will be technically "gay" (not, to quote Seinfeld, that there is anything wrong with that); even if it is simultaneous, there is no interaction with the other parties. While "Jack the Nation" has a certain ring to it, all I want to see happen is for Wellman to have driven legions of devout Demon Deacons to traipsing through smut. We could choose one image or video and make the web traffic wildly disproportionate, but I think I prefer for each participant to make there own choice, whether they prefer Brazilian, buttock oriented, or what have you. Perhaps everyone could choose the same purveyor which would have a nice variety to satisfy all tastes. If many people are opposed to pornography, we could all watch netflix, but not everyone has a netflix account, so I suggest something free, and something that would embarrass Wellman and the BOT.
Anyway, I welcome any input you may have regarding the implementation. If someone thinks they can organize this in 90 minutes, we could implement it for the Pitt game, but that seems like a longshot.
Go Deacs!
Phew, that leaves another spot open for Wake. Hope to hear more teams bail out on the tournament to assure that Wake not only gets into the CBI but also only plays against teams with a ranking of sub-280. It's the College Basketball Invitational. They just don't invite anyone.@URCollegian: UR coach Chris Mooney says he doesn't think he'd be interested in playing in the CBI if UR doesn't get an NIT bid.
Add Purdue and VCU to the list, the Rams winning it in 2010.
