no one should be "disappointed" if we land Marshall. He would be a steal. The fact that we are aiming this high gives me reason to praise Wellman, even if we dont snag one of our top two. he has taken a Clawson philosophy, trying to land the higher rated prospects.

I'd be very happy. The efficiency that WSu played with last week was beautiful.

I'd be just fine. No disappointment. I do think it strange that he hasn't been mentioned much for any jobs. But there really aren't any major jobs aside from Wake and Marquette.

I actually think Marshall is a better coach than Smart and his "style" would work better in a power conference like the ACC. I am not so sure the havoc thing would work when you are facing 4 star point guards nearly every night. That being said Smart would destroy him on the recruiting trail
 
Can someone who supposedly has this insider info regarding Shaka and/or Marshall not make a nebulous post for the sake of the hundreds of people continuously mashing refresh on their browsers?

That's my thinking as well. Disapointed was probably the wrong word for me to use but it just seems like everyone right now is "all in" for Shaka. I know right now I am.
 
Both would be tremendous hires and elevate us to big time quickly.

That's why I'm so intrigued by Smart.
 
From the same guy that told me the offer was at $3 million/year: Wellman gave shaka the offer Wednesday (like we've heard) and gave him the weekend to think it over. Said to expect an announcement or leaks on Monday or late Sunday (only leaks). Announcement shouldn't be later than Tuesday.

Again, can't say how in the know this guy is, but know that he's a big fan that isn't crazy like section 2 or anybody.

I am a big fan...but I don't know shit. Do you have reason to believe he has info?
