I also call BS on the rumor that TD and CP3 pushed for Manning. No fucking way those guys stick their neck out to see Manning clown us like this. That was an absolute plant.
 
At this point, it's become funny. I'm not even angry anymore. I'm just shocked that a top university could have systemic incompetence. Imagine if this was another school. It's so bizarre it's comical.

I have heard cp and duncan support other guys for hc (chill) in the past (over a year ago)

Remember this from the ESPN.com story initially posted yesterday morning?

Danny Manning is visiting the Wake Forest campus on Wednesday, and sources told ESPN.com that he intends to make a decision in the next 24 hours whether to remain at Tulsa or take over the Demon Deacons program.

So sad that this is relatable and hilarious. Hey I'm sure a bunch of you guys on these boards are Dads and experienced middle school volunteer hoops coaches. Stop tracking flight plans and step up to the plate. Wake Forest needs you now!

Of course, wouldn't you? They've got free shrimp cocktail and top shelf open bar. Way better than actually doing their "real" jobs.
 
Manning isn't clowning us. They have a done deal, but we have to wait for Wellman to do his dog and pony show in Dallas and then come back next week and have a press conference.

Manning went to Dallas with the Wake contingent. They will hobnob around introducing him as the Wake coach.
 
Wellman needs to move on to Indianapolis. It's clear his priority is the NCAA at this point and not Wake.
