Is it common to have so much complaints about rest when the last game was like 4 days ago?

Man of the Half? Timmy. Many keepers would have spilled those two crosses. Beckerman was excellent, too. Omar had a couple of gorgeous tackles after a shaky first 5 minutes.
 
Brad Davis has received about 30 sec of screen time today.
 
We got bossed the opening 10 minutes or so, but then we came into the match very quickly, and I think the final 15-20 minutes I thought we were the more dangerous side.

We are playing ze Germans evenly through the half. Conceding possession, but going after them on the counter.
 
Does winning the group do a lot for us? Quick google search shows we're either playing 1H or 2H. Is there a big difference between the best and second best team in Group H?

ETA looks like Belgium is #11 in the Fifa world rankings, Russia #19, Algeria #22

Yes. Belgium is far better than Russia or Algeria.

Jones over Beckerman for me, if we are talking midfielders. He has been all over the place. Again. (Excellent WC for Jermaine so far)


I think Beasley has been playing very well also.
