Republicans for POTUS, 2016 Edition

Rubio has some personal financial issues if I am not mistaken. Would be interesting to see the Clinton's tax returns.

Maybe not 33 years, but you can already see 1992-1999 from when Slick Willy was in office and 2000-2006 from when Hill-dog ran for 2008. I assume she'll release 2007-2013 pretty soon.

If I remember correctly you are a tax lawyer, correct? How much can the Clinton's hide in the Clinton Foundation?

What do you mean by hide? The tax returns for the Clinton Foundation are public record, so in terms of disclosure, they can't hide much of anything.

If there were something shady, the GOP would have been all it by now. Thought they'd save some stuff for an October surprise, but they want an early HRC TKO so they can run against Bernie or Biden.

I don't think there's ever been a candidate who has undergone more scrutiny than HRC. I agree that if there was something big to find, it would have been found.

Exactly. That doesn't keep people from hoping though.

I'm among those hoping for it.

Hildog is unimpressed.

LOL. Or hidden away, like her Whitewater files that disappeared or her e-mails.

She's not going to have dubious tax returns.

This is pretty funny. She deleted 30,000 emails from her 'private server' that she used during her time as secretary of state because she deemed them inconsequential.

Wrangor, for the last time, if there was something that you needed to know, I'm sure she would have let us know before deleting them. I'm pretty sure that's how it works for everyone in public service, right?

Hillary's been a household name for nearly a quarter of a century. Anyone who didn't realize she was slippery after the cattle futures financial bonanza is either young, naive, incredibly biased, or hasn't been paying attention. Only Trump's been famous longer. The server is ridiculous and can understand why it's a disqualifier for some, but most people made up their minds on HRC and Trump long ago. Lack of public scrutiny isn't the problem for either.

I do t disagree with you FMR. My point all along is that people know Hillary is slippery. They know she lies. They know she hides. Yet they still support her simply because she has power. I saw her compared to Nixon and it is a pretty apt comparison.

Brilliant and talented politician. Very smart. But also incredibly deceptive. At what point does a lifetime of deception count? That is why I think she loses. Not sure if it happens in the primary or the GE, but Hillary is pretty much everything the democrats hate about republicans. Other than her power, I can't figure out why yall support her.

Most of the left on this board would say they don't like her, yet in the primary my bet is the large majority of you still vote for her. Why? If the electoral college advantage is as good as most of you make it out to be then it almost shouldn't matter who the D's run. The demographics are the same. Pubs still have a huge uphill road to climb regardless of who is on the ticket.

That's a nonsensical post and you know it.

I haven't seen any poster here say they're voting for her in the primary and I have seen most people say they'll hold their nose and vote for her in the general because the alternative will be worse.

Yeah I probably won't vote for her in the primary but I sure as hell will for the presidency.

Bernie seemingly has a lot of support from people under 30 in the Boston area, not that this is surprising at all.

Wringing endorsements all around. Campaign motto "Vote Hillary she sucks less that the other guy".

It wouldn't be a great motto if there were legitimate contenders in the Dem primary but given the real world picture of the GOP clusterfuck, Clinton likely wins a "Vote Hillary she sucks less than the other guy" presidential vote in a landslide.

I'm thinking +300 EVs and 54-55% of the popular vote.
