So if Charlotte is covered in ice on saturday and power is out for half the state, how does that affect the game on Sunday?

Cards will complain about the field.

Looking like this stupid DC blizzard will prevent me from going to the game on Sunday. Fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuck.

I'm in central VA and my plan was originally just going to be driving down on Sunday morning and coming back late for work Monday. Now I'm leaving tonight and working remotely from my parent's house tomorrow.

Yeah do the Panthers/NFL have a weather contingency plan. Gonna go out on a limb and say if there's half an inch to an inch of ice across Charlotte that it's going to be tough to play this game Sunday night.

Numbers is seriously freaked out about this silly little storm.

Pfft. Charlotte will be fine on Sunday night.

Dude, it's not that extreme. They've played nfl games in blizzards before.

They can't play if Arizona isn't in town.

And playing while a severe snow storm is ongoing is different than trying to get anywhere after a major ice storm with snow on top of it. NC will be in a state of emergency as well and it's not likely that the city/state is going to be too interested in having resources diverted to a football game when there are life-threatening issues ongoing. I love the Panthers and can't wait for the game, I'm just wondering about the logistics of everyone even getting to the stadium.

Jesus Christ Numbers. The Cardinals will be here.

It depends on what the snow to ice ratio is. North Carolina can't even handle two to three inches of snow, if Charlotte gets 2-8" of snow with half an inch of ice everything will be frozen solid. The high of 44 on Sunday helps but if there's anywhere close to an inch of ice, that's not going anywhere for a while.

there's going to be an inch of precipitation by saturday and it will be 45 on sunday. settle down beavis

They will arrive whenever the NFL and FOX tells them they will need to arrive to make sure the game gets played when advertisers were told it would get played.

Thanks Biff.

Could be interesting to see if the Cards have any problem getting in to Charlotte on Saturday. Hopefully it pushes back their schedule a bit and messes with their heads.
