UNC continues to lie to recruits.

Lol, what if they are actually telling the truth and they don't get punished. Would be beyond hilarious by so "NCAA"
 
Of course that's what Fedora is saying. What does he have to lose at this point by continuing to lie to kids? Once the sanctions hit, kids are going to want to transfer and recruiting will be harder regardless of whether they were lied to or not during the recruiting process.
 
I'll believe they'll get sanctions when they happen, that way I don't get my hopes up for nothing.

That is exactly what any coach should be telling kids they are recruiting. I don't think it would be too smart for any coach in any sport to tell a recruit or their family that sorry, we might be going on probation so I would not come here for the next three years. Recruiters have to put a positive spin on everything.

Me too. The longer they take, the better I think it will be for all of us waiting. They have so so much to pore over it takes a lot of time to read it all. Remember, there were 5 Level 1 violations. This is unprecedented territory.

I was telling my 12 year old son about Tark the Shark the other day, and how the NCAA had a hard on to get him at any cost. And my son said, "why aren't they going to do anything to UNC then", and I really didn't have an answer.
 
We need to start lying if we can get the talent they just got this past recruiting class.

Well, lying, paying recruits, giving players cars to drive, handing out grades for classes that don't exist, having tutors do work and pay off parking tickets, among other things. It's a little more than just lying that has allowed UNC to succeed since Dean.

Don't think for a minute all of those things have only been happening "since Dean".
