Ain't played nobody, PAWL!
If Curry can't go in Round 2, can the Clips actually win that series?

I think he'll be fine. I think the injury was more he banged his MCL hard on the floor than his knee buckled. That is my hope. Obviously pulling for a Spurs - Dubs Western conference finals with both "no excuses" healthy. Epic series are epic series. Without Curry, it ain't as likely to be epic.
When a knee buckles, there is a split second spring of the knee, sort of like a rubber band getting cut and I didn't see that in the replay.
Again, mostly hopeful thinking. I think I would have left my groin on the floor the way he slipped. Looked painful.
Some of these guys are so springy. I've been watching a lot of Hawks games the last several weeks as all of their final 10 games of the season were meaningful games and I swear at the end of the season, Ken Bazemore took falls that I thought, 'he's got to be out for weeks - he had to have separated his should or broke his elbow etc... and the dude gets up every time.
Marcus Smart plays like Manu Ginobili's dumbass younger brother. Not sure I'd want him on the court in crunch time if he were my teammate, especially on the road, but dude makes some huge plays.
I really don't like Atlanta's offense. Budenholzer needs to go back to Pop camp. Move the fucking ball.
the hawks were 2nd in the league in assists per game this year and last year only behind GS. they missed a lot of open shots last night that they should make in game 5 at home.

I don't want to see anyone get hurt but the Spurs have had runs derailed by Duncan, Parker and Manu injuries in their primes which costs them 2-3 shots at titles. When does ESPN start it's coverage of the MRI?
Never when they were clearly the best team in the league, and never in the playoffs.
The reason knowing that it's a "sprained MCL" is not particularly helpful is that we don't know what grade the injury is. But at the very least, it sounds like we can expect Curry to be out for 15 days, which is the average length of time players have missed with low grade MCL injuries this season.

There were at least 11 isolated MCL sprains this season in the NBA. Low grade sprains averaged 15 missed days & 7.2 games lost.
Draymond Green put his arm around Stephen Curry and kneeled so he could reach the MVP’s ear. Curry was doubled over in tears in front of the Warriors’ bench. The frustration and disappointment was too much to bear. Head coach Steve Kerr rubbed the back of his star player while Green barked instructions to his friend.
Curry had just been told he could not go back in the game. Every bone in his body wanted to play but his ligaments overruled them. His ailing right knee wasn’t going to allow him to play. His crushed spirit wouldn’t going to wait for the privacy of the locker room.
"Get out of here," Green told Curry. "Don’t let them see you like this. Don’t let them see you cry. We will hold you down. We got this. We will win this for you."
Never when they were clearly the best team in the league, and never in the playoffs.
Manu in 2008 with the foot/ankle injury is probably the one year an injury possibly cost them a championship.
And never to the best player in the world.
Duncan missing the last four games of the regular season and the entire playoffs in 2000 when the Spurs were the defending champs and Duncan was arguably the best player in the world definitely counts.
also, <3 draymond:
these clippers blazers games got a lot more important. if the clips really want a shot they need to close out the blazers in 5 to reduce rest time for steph.
The year that Shaq got every first-place MVP vote except one and the Spurs were the 4 seed in the West, 14 games behind the Lakers?
Probably should count.
