Official '15-16 NBA Season Thread: THEY WON ONE FOR THE LAND

Getting bumped around by Draymond is nothing compared to getting sat on by his sister.

of course the sixers were going to win after they followed what the league wanted and instilled Colangelo. Trust the Process.

Stefan Bondy on Twitter: "Starting 5 of players drafted by other teams with Knicks/Nets picks: Lillard, Gordon Hayward, Draymond Green, LaMarcus Aldridge, Joakim Noah"

Seriously. I figure Silver made an agreement with Will and Jada Smith and the rest of the owners to can Hinkie in exchange for the 1st pick.

There is some strange comfort in knowing that the Hornets won't have the opportunity to blow a lottery pick this year. Just a regular pick.

Just looked at nba.com's mock draft:

22. Charlotte Hornets
Brice Johnson | North Carolina | PF | 6-10 | 230

I don't mind Brice Johnson the player and actually think that's good value at 22, but jesus am I tired of feeling like we draft players just to appease UNC fans.

Deyonta Davis | Michigan State | PF | 6-10 |240

i'm okay with this.

Malcolm Brogdon already seems like he's in a Spurs uniform. He fits their mold to a T, if he's around at that pick. Maybe not exactly what they need, but it just seems so natural.

A SG great defender with good size is exactly what the Spurs need behind or to replace Green. Manu's spot in the rotation will be open with only Simmons to claim it unless the Spurs keep Martin.

Yeah, I guess I wasn't thinking about Manu retiring. TBH, they can just go BPA and add depth. But you're right. If Brogdon could ease Kawhi's workload on the defensive end, it could really pay dividends.

Brogdon is long and smart, but is he athletic enough to be a plus defender in the NBA?

That's always a question. He's smart enough to overcome athletic issues. I want the Spurs to draft someone who can play next year. There are enough spots on the roster at every position up for grabs.

I never felt Raja Bell was super athletic but I may be misremembering. Seems like he could be a dece comp for Brogdon.

So when they finally send Timmy D to the glue factory will all you 90s oldz cheer for CP3 or what

He comin' to the Spurs?
