Official '16-17 NBA Thread: not with a bang but a whimper

These two have been having a dance off at Oracle the last couple weeks.

gold jacket dude has been staple for a while now. he's a weird dude. one game i was at it seemed like he brought a date and made her wear the gold jacket.

to be clear, both he and the date were wearing matching gold jackets.

I used to love Draymond. I was bummed when the Spurs passed on him. But he needs to stop this shit or get suspended.

dude is an absolute beast and game changer. the refs hard on for him because he's intense is SAD!

refs are hard on him because he kicks dudes in the face when fouled and they made a specific rule change in the offseason that said you couldn't kick dudes in the face when fouled

Both of them need to be called and then suspended if they don't stop.

It's a totally BS, dirty play.

what russ is doing is an offensive foul, but his shit looks like he's trying to just draw a foul, draymond looks like he's kicking as hard and high as he can to inflict whatever damage he can with whatever happens to be in his way.

the first tony parker one is what draymond did like 10 times in the playoffs except he made contact that made the nba make this rule:

It may just be me, but I think kicking somebody in the head should result in a suspension. That's totally different than swinging your leg out to try to draw a foul.

i think a flagrant 1 is fine, it cost the warriors the game last night.

in other news, James Johnson is having the best year of his career with the Heat. This would be the point where he lands in the doghouse for some unknown reason with other teams but I think the Heat need him too much.

Nice numbers. 12.5 ppg, 5 rpg, 1.9 apg, 1.2 bpg, 1.0 spg in his last 10 in 28 mpg. 24/6 last night vs. Jazz.

Ish has 11 assists and no TOs with 6 minutes left in the third quarter.
