Roughly 3 weeks into Trump as PEOTUS...

Aside from being damaging to morale, wont the fact that the president doesn't read the security briefings disincentivise our intelligence agencies to do a thorough job, thus hurting our security?

The briefings are like the daily news paper but for a head of state. They are not the same every day. If they were, presidents would not get them daily. i suppose trump is going to just "tour" 24/7 and pence will run government(?)

Also, what are the odds the russian NSA equivalent has blackmail material on trump and go J Edgar Hoover on his ass? Trump has had unsecured communications for a long time.

It's articles like this that give Trump power. Sensationalized drama queens from the left over emphasizing everything so that legitimate points are lost in the wash

What are the legitimate points in the article? Let's move beyond sensationalism and partisanship and have a conversation.

Pretty sure that president twitter never read Dreiser. However, this administration could be even more entertaining than the one of "W" the rodeo clown.

One thing for sure, it will be the dorkiest administration in my memory. Search every room, look in all the closets and all the drawers, and anything resembling cool is nowhere to be found.

Good, bad or indifferent, it will be a precipitous slide in the cool factor. Dorks hang with dorks. Trump is a dork.

Hard to tell which person will have the best confirmation show, right now I'd say the EPA guy and him.

Jeff Sessions waves hello. As do both Tillerson and Bolton at State. I heard Rand Paul on NPR this a.m. saying Bolton was completely unacceptable and would do what he could to block his nomination. I was talking to my financial advisor about Tillerson and the oil cut back issue yesterday, and he was open to giving Tillerson a chance. Said he was a smart guy who knows the players in the ME and of course in Russia. But he's going to have to prove to senators from both sides that he greatly appreciates the difference between advocating on behalf of his corporation and being our chief diplomat and that he can adequately divest himself from all of his Exxon interests. As for Tillerson, I'm also interested as to why he wants to take a yuge pay cut, divest himself of all of his Exxon interests (probably losing money in the process) to take maybe the most difficult and time consuming job in the administration. At the end of the day, I think Sessions and most of the other controversial nominees make it through confirmation, but Tillerson and Bolton will not.

It's time to just support OUR President, guys. None of these silly confirmation games. Just come together and support OUR President.
