There seems to be a weird disconnect between how everyone else reads your posts and unanimously thinks you're fucking dumb, and your total petulant confidence that, no, it's actually everyone else.
 
I mean lets be real people. This isn't the first game we have sucked defensively, has been a problem all year long. They 66%. That is 2 makes on every 3 shots. We need better athletes on the wings (Not meant to be disrespectful to Arians or Woods but neither of them could defend a lick. Thankfully they are typically good shooters).

Learn how to coach defense? Like attend some coaching clinics this summer? Read some books? High school JV coaches do that.

Most of our tournament losses over the last 20 years followed a similar script.

Second half points allowed:
47 vs. Stanford
36 vs. Butler
46 vs. Oregon
34 vs. Auburn
45 vs. St. Joe's
50 vs. West Virginia (34 in 2 OTs)
47 vs. Cleveland State
46 vs. Kentucky
 
At least it was on Tru TV, how many households get that. Certainly about zero hotels.

Butler was the only game we gave up less in the 2nd half than the 1st. I remembered Stanford as a street fight. I didn't remember we gave up that many to them.
 
TBF it looks like we started fouling Cleveland State with like 4 mins left since we were down double digits
 
Collins is a really poor post defender. Woods, Arians and Wilbiken are terrible perimeter defenders. Crawford overplays on defense (which would't be bad if we had post defenders to bail him out). Childress is maybe our best defender and he's still pretty slow. And Greek Deac sucks as a defender.

Unless we change our personnel wholesale we need to start playing some more zone.

Yeah. We fouled in most of these games because we were losing. We were losing because we gave up 40+ points going into the last few minutes.

A team that gets beat so many times on back doors and screens has no other choice. I think K-State would have been a good team to try some zone against.
