It's the first time in school history that basketball, football, baseball, and men's soccer have all made the postseason in the same year. Add in second place individual women's golfer, runner up in men's soccer, top-ranked team basically all year for men's tennis, plus bowl win, regional host and advancing to supers and yeah it's certainly one of the best ever.
I don't really think it's "sad, if true" and yeah people will disproportionately focus on men's basketball and football (which is fair since those are the two major sports) but across the board this has been a great year for any school's athletic program across the board. Ranked 10th in the country in the Capital One Cup for men.
