Official Russian Election Interference Thread

Let's just make sure we don't use legal terms or big words in the midst of a discussion of whether something is legal.

Fucking rubes.

I think it's a toss up as to whether this meeting in and of itself is illegal or not.

I would hope there's no real tossup on whether it's proper for a candidate's son, campaign manager, and son in law to go to a meeting to receive opposition research that they are told will be provided by an attorney associated with the Kremlin.

A WH reporter from the Daily Beast says many people in the WH call Don, Jr., Fredo.

For a party the loves Ronald Reagan, they sure do support things that Ronald Reagan would absolutely abhor.

Has Sailor chimed in with his thoughts yet? He was asking for evidence of collusion...what 48 hours ago?

How about I speak for me, and you speak for you; seem reasonable?

It is not hyperbole to say that I am genuinely starting to feel sorry for you guys. I honestly don't know where to begin anymore. What evidence supports this accusation: "actively engaging with Russian spies"?

Do you think it was appropriate for them to have that meeting?

It's no longer the party of Reagan. GOP stands for nothing besides annoying liberals, repealing Obamacare (without any solutions) and placing party before country at all costs.

It's the party of Trump.

So jh, basically.

Anybody who has cast a majority of votes for an R in the past 10'years want to admit it is objectively bad to meet with a foreign power to get dirt on a political opponent? Step right up and grow a pair.

The timing of the Russia sanction vote and the Don Jr. email reveals has us so, so close to the pee-pee tape release.

Objectively bad?

Completely. It's downright treasonous and a result of Trump and his family having no value system or moral compass. They only look out for themselves.

Fanfucking-tastic defense. Bravo Drudge/NyPost, Bravo.

On one hand, people call it treason. On another hand, lawyers don't even think its collusion.

This is a great story and is getting all sorts of reasoned takes.

Let me get this straight...you guys sat there on your thumbs when Russians paid Bill CLinton hundreds of thousands of dollars while State is reviewing their application to buy domestic uranium (surprise: it was approved!), and not only are you silent, you are doe-eyed at her being the most qualified person for anything, ever(tm).
Hundreds of thousands of dollars? *yawn*
But Don jr. Gets an email, and you all are unhinged.

Terrible. Just terribly fraudulent.
