But why would damo even make that move? Unlikely to have died that round and if tejas is a civ, likely that a civ would have died.

If Tejas is a civ, that's just a HOF bad mafia play by damo. You were likely gonna escape there. And I definitely don't see any reaction from Gouda that got him killed. Just luckbox.
