Perhaps Manning likes versatility, even at the 5 and point, not just the positions in between. I think Sarr/JC may be the type of athletes Manning likes at the 5.

I was responding to someone saying Sarr wasn't a 4. That's what I couldn't disagree with more.

JC played 5 because neither Doral nor Sam were ready. Nor was JC ready before Xmas to play 4.

Sarr is skinnier than JC was as a frosh.

Im guessing the staff told him commit soon or your spot could be taken by Ayo in 2 weeks. Makes you wonder.
 
Devoe's official at Ohio State is this weekend, correct?

(Going off of this Biancardi tweet from August 20th. Don't know if things have changed)

 
USC and OSU ones were cancelled a few weeks back. Appears UF one has been as well, which makes me think one of UFs PG targets ranked above him is getting ready to commit and Mike White gave him the heads up to not wait around
 
Keep an eye on Xavier Johnson; GT's other top PG prospect is supposed to visit there this weekend

I like our chances if that visit sticks
 
Trusting TITSWF and others who say Devoe is a better fit, but landing Ayo would be pretty sweet.
 
Hope we get one of Devoe or Ayo at least. Don't know enough to pick which one I'd prefer but I'll say which ever one will be best helping our team as we expect it will be breakdown a half court defense against us, and defend 1v1 the opponent's PG is the one I want. We're gonna be very strong around the rim, and on the break so how do you augment that with one of these PG's, outside shooting to break a zone, driving to the rim to finish, driving and dishing?
 
I think it's going to be pretty obvious what Devoe is doing based on Xavier Johnson. XJ and Devoe are supposedly being considered for only one spot, so the first one that wants it gets it. GT isn't going to bring XJ on campus for an official only to have his potential spot be pulled on Saturday afternoon if Devoe wants to commit so GT is likely going to want some sort of indication beforehand.

Someone posted this on GT's message board and it makes sense: Either XJ makes the visit to GT, which means Devoe commits to WF or GT cancels the XJ visit, which would indicate that Devoe is seemingly GT bound.

It's not a fool-proof plan but is most likely going to be a good indication. I put WF's odds at 75% based on everything I seen online, especially from our newfound recruiting insiders.
 
If Devoe verbals to Wake this weekend, should we expect to see Ayo's official visit cancelled?
 
Devoe reminds me of those annoying as shit 4 year UNC point guards that are awesome college players with no NBA draft stock.
