Donald Impeachment

Pretty sweet to get to use the "they wanted to impeach him before he even took office" in reverse.

But wait a minute - I saw the great Ken Starr just this past week so eloquently arguing in Trump's defense that we're living in an age of partisan impeachments and that it simply has to stop. Surely the great and honorable Republican Party wouldn't be so brazenly hypocritical in such a serious matter. Oh, wait, they definitely would. Whatever argument gets them through that day's self-inflicted mess, I guess.

ETA: And whatever helps them to own the libs, of course.

They want to undo the results of an election if they don't like the results!

(Always, always projection.)

Of course. Every attack the repubicans levy has two purposes-to undermine the Dems and to justify what they intend to do to Dems.

"Partisan impeachment"-See above
"Fake news"-Undermine the MSM, and make their base feel better for sharing Conservative Tree House posts on facebook.
And in quotes like "Coastal elites use identity politics against Real Americans" (Hi bkf!)
Makes me wonder what's going to come of the loud protestations against human trafficking (esp with QAnon linking it to the Dems).

More meddling in the Democratic Primary election. This just seems like an effort to deter Dems from nominating Biden.

They feel emboldened and empowered after allowing trump to cheat and feel like they are about to get away with limited repercussions.

“Biden should be very careful what he’s asking for because, you know, we can have a situation where if it should ever be Pres Biden, that immediately, people, right the day after he would be elected would be saying, ‘Well, we’re going to impeach him.’”

Bingo. But look at the bright side. At least this kind of meddling isn't illegal - it's just misinformation. I think we should applaud Pubs who merely engage in promoting misinformation instead of engaging in illegal acts.

Rick Scott has a TV ad up (in Iowa, because he wants to be president) accusing Democrats of a cover up. So I guess it's time for every Democrat to get on cable TV news to whine and whine and whine about civility?

[RJKarl]If the DNC has any sense at all they will run ads in Kansas of Trump congratulating the people of Missouri for the Chiefs winning the Super Bowl and run ads in Missouri of Trump congratulating the people of Kansas for the Chiefs winning the Super Bowl. I doubt they'll do it though. [/RJKarl]
