Official 2020 NBA Offseason - First Half Season Schedule Out

I feel like we need to move the 3PT line back 3 feet and allow people to take one less step. I yearn for the days of the turnaround mid-range J
 
Ratings for the NBA have to be way down if the activity on the NBA thread during the playoffs is any indicator. Must be all these darn social justice messages. CP3 vs Harden. Game 6. Wake Board. Crickets

One less step per dribble? Backing up the 3 point line will just give great shooters even more of an advantage.

That's fine. But now the whole league is shooting 38% or better. Lillard and Steph should be able to get the 3 pt shot. PJ Tucker shouldn't be able to camp out at the corner and get 3's at a 45% clip.

I feel like somewhere in the past 15 years we gave people an extra step on their way to the basket.

I've been watching a ton, especially working from home when the games start at noon

but I've read ratings are not good

I shoulda stayed at work till like 12 today. Talked myself into leaving at 4 to watch the games cause I can't watch the TNT games on ESPN.com saying I'd do some work from home. Nopes.

Probably. I don't think they really throttle it until before the Conference Finals.

From a quick Google search, ratings are down but what would be expected given the regular season ratings and lower TV viewership this year than last.

On the flip side you have 6 months of pent up demand from new no content anywhere and no one able to leave the house

Yet TV viewership overall is down this year compared to last year. Meanwhile Brandy vs. Monica on IG had 1.2M views. Who knows.

7 out of 12 people in the contest had Rockets-Thunder going to Game 7. Five for the Rockets, two for the Thunder.

I'm guessing most advanced stats have CP3 as fairly high if not the highest in crunch time stats. Simply because he always has the ball in his hands, rarely turns it over, and his team usually gets a decent shot.
