Official Election Month Thread: COUP falls short, nothing to see here

Had to quit following all this and do a Zoom meeting...was hoping to return to find this more settled.

I have been inundated with Jaime Harrison ads (he spent every penny of that 100 Million, I promise you) for the last 6 months and just rose for fresh air, my personal hell is looking up ads for other states.
 
If fox preemptively calls it for Trump, that would be quite the heel turn. But I wouldn’t put it past Murdoch in the slightest.

I am a little surprised Georgia is holding the run-off on January 5, 2021 because the 117th (next) Congress convenes on January 3, 2021. Will Perdue and Loeffler still hold those two Georgia seats or will they be vacant until January 5 (date of GA runoff election), or whenever winners are determined?

It'll be interesting what Fox and the AP decide to do with Nevada because Nevada is very close to callable which means for Fox/AP who have already called AZ, they then would have to call the election as a whole. AZ + NV = 270 for Biden. I doubt anyone really wants to be the first to call the whole race with PA still counting votes, but that's the situation right now.

Just went from 7K to almost 12K. Was over 12K but Trump picked up some votes in smaller red counties. Those counties can't make up the gap alone. He'll need to outperform in the Las Vegas area which on votes cast so far is blue. Presume Biden went from 7K to 12K based on that county or the county that has Reno. So if that trend holds Biden should be OK.

since our TV market is also GSP's we got both.

Washoe County (Reno) just reported a chunk of votes and the margin was ever so slightly pro-Biden and improved his standing by around 0.02%.

Or what if CNN/networks call Nevada and force AP and Fox to match?
 
wonder if any of them are waiting to see if they can call Georgia and Nevada for Biden before they back down on Arizona
