Given our dining habits, I don't think the school could afford it.

Team should have been eating McDonald's and focusing on this game. Apparently, the dessert menu was more interesting to them.
 
Fwiw, ESPN bubble watch thinks we still get in. Updated post loss. We were definitely in with a win I think. Now we have to avoid bid thieves and just pull against all other bubble teams.

Or pay no attention to it because who gives a fuck about sneaking into Dayton? Seemingly not our players.

When does football season start?

Good for him but the game was lost by our lack of preparation, the same stupid turnovers that plagued us all year that Forbes refused to address, and by being out-hustled by a hungry BC team. I guess our guys were still full from their big steak dinner. So fucking stupid

Hopefully they have a charter and can get home in time for Ryan’s to celebrate their NIT bid. If we host a game…I hope no one shows up

If we’re in the NIT I wouldn’t be shocked at all for some of the players to just skip it.
 
Our starters made 2 threes all game and shot under 60% from the line. That's why we lost.

If we do sneak into the tourney they'll be eating peanut butter and jelly sandwiches the night before...

Allowing an opposing team to shoot 50% from the floor while 2 of your most consistent players (who are seniors) fail to show up and enough free throws are bricked to to build a house isn't preparation.

It's failing to meet the moment.

Some you are absolute babies, though unexpected from 8x Deacs. We went from 6-16 to 23-9 in a year and this is how you react to a disappointing loss. Get over yourselves

well when you do out perform the past 10 years that does not mean you have a great team. We have a decent team and we finished 5th in a decent (not good ) conference. Forbes created this team and we certainly out performed expectations. Good foundation and got some nice recognition. Road games killed us but we also won more road games than in the past. We need a strong point guard.
 
Love Sy but he had no hands today, lost the ball several times. Would not have minded seeing Marsh for a few minutes but I guess the confidence level is not there yet. Very frustrating that we could not even get off the last shot.
