I just went through this. Would have been boned with supply chain bullshit if I hadn't been a contractor for like 20 years.
 
Guys, wife is about to turn 40. In lieu of trading up, I wanna throw her a cool birthday party. Maybe destination oriented. Thoughts? Ideas?

my mom is redoing their kitchen and has been out for 4 months now 😬

"soft" remodel. Had the kitchen cabinets painted instead of replacing. New countertops. New trim work. Did the flooring during COVID with some friends, replaced the tile with luxury vinyl plank. But now replacing a door/window with a slider for the new deck/patio and some other stuff.
 
Mako what dive bar did you devour your wings in? Was anybody smoking inside?

If it wasn't Jimmagan's you're doing it wrong.

NICE! We went with white uppers and gray lowers. Doing white subway tile backsplash in a herringbone pattern with white quartz countertops that has a little grey veining in it. We replaced all the appliances during COVID as well.
 
actually WHITE lowers, gray was on the island/island cabinets only
