Watching all these teams not be able to get the god damn ball over the plate when it matters just hammers home the point that our pitching staff is legit one of the greatest ever.

They said the longest an Oregon starter has gone this weekend was 3 innings today. I just don't understand how a manager gets to the point where he's putting his 8th pitcher out there who only has 6 1/3 innings to salvage the season.

Poor kid hit a batter on a 3-2 pitch to bring in a 3rd run.

9th pitcher coming out now.
 
From WS Journal in May….if they are physically able Wake needs to make it happen $$$$ wise…one guy still living is Billy Ray Barnes who was also a football star and played/was Pro Bowler in NFL for maybe 10 years with Redskins , Eagles, etc.. Pretty sure he opened the gate at a football game a few years back…

Totally it’s a joke. Both of these teams really deserve to lose with all the dumbass pitcher management

I could honestly see a guy like Ben Sutton flying them out there private. Gene Hooks was there today (and a few times this postseason), but he doesn’t look like he’s in shape to make that trip.
 
9th pitcher of the night gets the strikeout. Oregon down 6.

I didn't realize Gene Hooks was still alive. Good for him. Glad he was able to make it to the game.
