On An Airplane Next To A Fat Guy

Oneworld includes Royal Jordanian, Qatar, and Air Maroc as partners that I can choose from, but it's hard to compare them all anywhere online. I wouldn't mind a layover in Doha or Casablanca.

Qatar will obviously be a much better flight experience. Royal Air Maroc will probs give you a more interesting destination if you mean layover as in spending time in the destination and not just transiting the airport
 
right, i think i'd plan a night or two there. never been to either place.
 
i have decided that my company should be paying for Economy Plus for any flight over 2 hours. I have no authority to make this decision, so we shall see if these expenses get approved.
 
Just got off a flight to Chicago and I’m continually baffled at how oblivious some people are to their surroundings. Dude wearing a giant backpack just swiveling his body back and forth whacking everything and everyone in sight. Lady with a roller bag that’s too wide for the aisle just dragging it through slamming into my shin. Lady in front of me getting down the jetway just stopped a few times for unknown reasons without ever looking back to see if anyone was there. Her husband was nowhere in sight by the time we got into the terminal.

Got bumped from my aisle seat to a middle seat for my 5 1/2 hr flight to SFO. And yeah…the dude in the window seat is huge. Not fat but a large human. Gonna be a tough morning
 
Yeah I've never heard of that happening. Seems like if they oversold the plane (or at least the aisle seats), you should be entitled to some miles/vouchers.

That fact that Delta forces you to be upgraded to economy plus or buy is bullllllshit. American with status you can just book it for free.
 
If you book a main cabin seat and there is a delta comfort+ seat available you automatically move to comfort+ as soon as you hit buy if you have good status. That’s pretty much the same thing.

This will be the thing I miss most in ‘25 when there’s virtually no way I keep platinum with the new thresholds.

They’re rolling them back but I haven’t seen any discussion on the new criteria.
 
On a United Express from Albany to DC. Sweet lord the flight attendant is soooooo young. May be the first time she ever read the announcement. I forget how old I truly am until things like this happen
