Sorry, I must've had you confused with mako for a minute.
Possible that it just never got enough of a chance to heal since that’s a joint that moves around a lot. You could try wearing a brace to immobilize the joint for a few weeks and see if that helpsIs this where we solicit unprofessional medical advice? I hurt my thumb in July. I thought it was just jammed at the time, but it still hurts whenever I use my thumb to grip and it is still stiff when I try to bend it. If it was a fracture I figure it would have healed by now. Is it thumb herpes?
It's not as much fun as it sounds.Yeah I don’t get sexually assaulted during my haircuts (usually).

Anyone here been to Quebec City? We'll be up there for a few nights in a couple of weeks. Been to Montreal a thousand times, but never QC.
I, uhh, fell UP some stairs last year and jammed my thumb in a real weird way too, and I wanna say it took like 10-12 months before it stopped hurting when gripping stuff/opening jars/etc.Is this where we solicit unprofessional medical advice? QC in mid-February is a choice. It's only a 4 hour drive from here, yet I've only been once. It was cool to check out for a couple of days. There's a waterfall bit northeast of the city that is worth looking at.Anyone here been to Quebec City? We'll be up there for a few nights in a couple of weeks. Right on. I am now entering a period of circumspection when it comes to my discussion of meteorological conditions, so I will acknowledge this and move on.The cold doesn't really bother me much. It used to and I was a big baby when I lived in Vermont, but not anymore. And my wife is from Maine and she loves the winter and snow.
if only all vermonters adopted this attitudeThe cold doesn't really bother me much. It used to and I was a big baby when I lived in Vermont, but not anymore. And my wife is from Maine and she loves the winter and snow.
Similar experience with jamming mine when I was running the Stone Mountain Loop in the snow. It was well on a year before it stopped hurting.I, uhh, fell UP some stairs last year and jammed my thumb in a real weird way too, and I wanna say it took like 10-12 months before it stopped hurting when gripping stuff/opening jars/etc.
