We somewhat luckily got to half with Reid with only 2 fouls. He is a huge difference maker and needs to stay on the floor. I worry they will attack him and he will pick up #3 in the first few minutes of the 2nd.

I hate State’s “defense” that is completely dependent on how physical the refs let the game get.

If the refs called the hand checking and holds off the ball on motion, State would either be forced to play actual defense or forfeit via foul outs.

I can pretty much guarantee you that they will not have that good of a second half.

Also really impressive for Burns to have zero fouls.

Our D was horrible and sloppy with ball. team just can’t get over the hump.

Pretty much can trace the deficit to Boopie’s turnovers. Need to clean that shit up in the 2nd half and come back strong

Efton, Carr and Marsh help out on defense way too far from the basket. When State swings it back to the opposite side and we collapse back down, we are out of place on D and they’re getting lots of lanes for dribble drives and/or midrange jumpers. Don’t understand why we keep making the same mistakes over and over. Need to fix this at half, cut out the TOs and attack their guards on offense.
