Steve Forbes credibility watch

For crying out loud, Forbes, though likable, is a coaching buffoon! Currie, without balls, needs to grow some and fire the motherfucker!
 
Saw this on twitter: “Really think it has something to do with the Monsanto drama”
What’s going on there? What did I miss?
 
Even if GT doesn't miracle us at the end, the team coming out that flat against a pitiful team, in a must win game, is still inexcusable and the blame is on Forbes.

And while i wish Forbes was terminated at end of season, I know it won't be the case and will hope he magically finds a new ceiling next season.

A Wake team with everything to gain is getting beat up by a team with nothing to lose is typical late Feb/March for hoops and late Oct/Nov in football.

Cliff notes: Monsanto got frustrated due to his injury and his lack of success chose the absolute worst time to start sulking and being emo on line and then claimed he was hurt so that Forbes had no choice but to bench him. It’s been a horrible week and a half for him…. So selfish and self destructive and can be argued it ruined the chemistry of the team leading to the collapse . Hard to see a scenario where he is back next year after this.

Is there anything credible to saying it’s a Damari issue? Anything to substantiate that there is an issue between him and Forbes or teammates? Or are we just making wild speculation based on nothing but a few tweets?

i was baffled our "insiders" said nothing about monsanto between the VT and GT game. if it was truly an injury, i think it would have been okay to inquire on the injury. or simply "is he practicing?" nothing.. crickets
 
Maybe if we all meet in the Joel parking lot and burn our tie dye shirts, it’ll reverse the court storm curse. A sacrifice to the basketball gods?

i think it's pretty clear that the only person even resembling a journalist covering Wake Sports is a current college senior.
The rest should have their credentials revoked...they are a disgrace to the credential
 
This should be Currie's conversation with Forbes after the season, " Steve, really simple, next year you make the NCAA tourney 64 team field (not the play-in round) or you're done here. No, excuses about all these guys left, you're the transfer portal guru right? Make the tournament or you're done."
 
He should be fired right after our first round loss at the ACC tournament.

Nice to the see the masses finally realizing what has been obvious for quite some time. The question is, is there enough of a tide shift to pressure Currie to make a move after this season, which is sorely needed? That fucker Wellman waited years too long with the previous two buffoons. Waiting any longer gains us nothing, it only delays the inevitable and prolongs the misery. And spare me the "image" bullshit. Our program has been in the shitter for going on two decades. We have no positive image to tarnish, and anyone scared of having 4 years to simply make the goddamn tournament shouldn't be considered anyway.

Ah yes. Let's re-live the [Redacted] and Manning years. Losing to Stetson in November was so much better than being able to care about games in March. Miserable fucking fanbase.
