I'm sure the Sox will sell a shiton of the "Chi" caps in the Sox font. And the Southside jerseys
tampa bay: retirees and skateboards! The Tampa area has also always had a retiree type culture, so it all fits
They use both. They have the Sting Ray as a sleeve patch…have always had a Ray tank in the outfield at the Trop etc.don't the Rays now use the meaning of the term to be the sun vs an animal?
Seems like they go back and forth now.don't the Rays now use the meaning of the term to be the sun vs an animal?
The Mets are good, too. Don't love the hats, but the uniforms sort of have an early 1900s look to it.I think the idea is that Tampa area has always had a bit of a skateboarding type culture. I love the hat with the Ray/Sunshine Skyway mashup.
But yeah…those White Sox Southside uni’s are badass
Easy now. The Double A doesn't suck.good city connect jerseys are literally the only good thing going for the white sox in 2024
I'm not a fan of the Mets'. Don't like the purple accents with the Gray on gray palate. The pinstripes made out of subway symbols is a nice touch, but still not a fan. The hats are basic. The Mets are good, too. Don't love the hats, but the uniforms sort of have an early 1900s look to it.
One take:
Southside….. STAAAAAAND UP!!!Easy now. The Double A doesn't suck.
But seriously, this is one of the worst teams in baseball history.
LOL. I will say, the call for the walkoff, after I'd consumed three too many bourbons, I liked when he said "and for all the haters!" before dropping that awful line. But it was one of those calls that was so bad, it was good... or memorable at least.Southside….. STAAAAAAND UP!!!
