Tyler Henderson tweeted that he is walking away from football. Sounds like he has had some serious concussion related issues.

Yes, per BSD, will help coach RB's. Won't count against scholarship limit.

Heartsill and Gallagher stayed after career ending injury. Nice to hear he'll be part of the team still.

Good for him that he can do right by his health and still be able to attend Wake without a scholarship.

Unfortunately, there are also kids suffering through concussions because sticking it out is the only way they can afford college. That must be taken into account when lauding one student for making a decision it would be much tougher for another to make.

I believe if an athlete has a career ending injury, they still can finish school on scholarship, but not count against the 85 total.

That is correct. Henderson is still getting his school paid for. Thankfully that won't count against our 85 though as it has sometimes in the past (Jordan Pineda ring a bell?)
