2023-24 Wake Forest Basketball Season - 21-14 (11-9) - KP#29 / NET#43

We also have a scrimmage against Georgetown coming up at some point.

Clark looks better than expected. Couple of 3s and one really sweet pass where he was posted up in the corner and someone passed him the ball and he immediately whipped it over to Carr for wide open 3. If F-ton gets waiver, we could have 5 players on the court who can all hit 3's plus bunch of subs who also can hit 3's. Nice to finally have a bunch of shooters. That is provided Cam's pre-season shooting stroke continues into the season.

Any recent news on Damari after coach said he had a set back?

Really feel like a healthy Damari and Efton takes us from bubble to contender.

Reid has taken 23 threes in 58 college games and made 5 (21%). Would put the brakes on the idea that he's going to counted on to knockdown a bunch of threes for the Deacs if eligible.

Walton was 16 of 39 (41%) in 84 college games. He then went 21 of 57 in his year here. Khadim Sy was 13 of 44 (30%) in 77 college games then went 17 of 49 in his year here. Those two had better percentages coming in, but still put up more threes in one year here than in their three previous years combined. Forbes will utilize the big man shooting the three.

All due respect (and I'm generally in full agreement with most of your takes), but Reid will absolutely step out and shoot the 3 if he plays this season. And it'll be at a significantly higher make % than 21%.

Separately, I wouldn't be surprised to see Marsh also fire up a 3 every now and then.
