2024 PGA Tour thread

Rahm looks miserable out there on the golf course. Severe buyer's remorse.
 
Rahm has regressed significantly since joining LIV. Great move.
 
There's not really anyone playing better golf after joining LIV

Playing the LIV no cut three round events on easy (for them) courses does nothing to get players ready for 156 player four round majors on tough courses.

FWIW, the PGAT is also hurting their product with the elevated no cut (or cut 10 guys) events. Heard Xander being touted for his current no cut streak dating back to 2022, but the best PGA players play in so few full field events outside of majors, a no cut streak doesn't mean much any more.

LIV has hurt and continues to hurt the sport. It sucks. On top of the Saudi involvement, it also sucks that the world's biggest narcissist, Greg Norman, drove this because of his desire to get revenge on the golf world that somehow wronged him.

Watching a LIV event looks like a large guy’s golf weekend made up of a bunch of really good golfers and they’re counting beers along with strokes. It just lacks the sense of it being a competition at the highest level. I think Rahm is a guy that craves the highest competition whenever he’s out there. Brooks never took the regular tour events that seriously anyway, so playing regular PGA events vs LIV events doesn’t matter much to Brooks. I think it does to Rahm, I think he it feels like it’s a step down to him.
 
Why didn’t he comply? You don’t mess with Louisville cops. They will put 5 “warning” shots in your chest.
