2024 PGA Tour thread

FWIW, Bryce Koepka's brother, Chase, has been relegated from the LIV tour. If LIV and the PGAT don't reach a deal, Bryce will be the first one to seek re-admission to the PGAT.
What does one have to do to get relegated from LIV? And what happens to the $$$?

There is apparently a LIV golf promotions event which allows relegated players to play their way back on to the LIV Tour. Not sure if its one event or more than one event (not sure if LIV even knows).

Hope he plays well this week....sounds like the PGA Tour rank-and-file were none too pleased that 3 of the 4 sponsor exemptions went to players on the PGA Tour policy board for this week's event.

But really. Who gives a shit what they think?

"Play better."

Opening LIV Event in Mexico is in disarray because of a food poisoning outbreak...

Hahaha... one of the tweets reporting on the Mayakoba food poisoning is from @flushingitgolf

Looking like Pebble will be a 54 hole event due to high winds and rain today and tomorrow. And Wyndham Clark's 60 yesterday will get him the win. And he left 3 15-25' putts on 16, 17 and 18 just short and in the jaws.

Unless something changes, they’ve announced the final round will be tomorrow. Will make for quite the busy week for the guys playing in Scottsdale. Wonder if the tour might try to help them out with a charter flight.

Videos out of Carmel are wild. Zero chance they could be playing. 60+ mph winds and waves breaking over the sea wall.

Sucks it was only 54 holes. I also didn't care for Clark's answer when he was asked after Saturday's round what his preference would be, and he responded with getting the win without having to play another 18.

Longshots have crushed it on the PGAT this year:

BTW, Nick Dunlap finished DFL in his first event as a pro...

You can't take away Clark's 60 as that's impressive under any conditions but no fucking way that should qualify as a course record round under lift, clean, and place

Not surprised about Nick Dunlap, with the pro's it's probably more about your bad being not that bad versus your good being really good.

Heard that Rahm was really annoyed by the loud music during last week's event in Mexico. Not kidding. LIV is in Vegas this week along with a semi-popular football game.

Lulz - That's like walking into a whorehouse and being annoyed that people are paying for and having sex

Was out in Scottsdale, AZ last year just before the Waste Management and the Super Bowl fell on the same weekend.

That was crazy but doubt it holds a candle to Vegas this upcoming weekend.
